Monday, May 16th, 2022 - 6 hours

At 8 am, I met up with the different workers at the library. I then went to a private room on the second floor and started working on different projects. This focused specifically on the assignment to create an online escape room. So, I ventured from one online escape room after another and cataloged what I saw in each of them. I also put in questions I would ask my supervisor once I met with her. I met with my supervisor Theresa McDevitt, and she gave me a tour of the library and helped put into perspective the order in which I would work on assignments. Once this was completed, I left the library at around 2 pm. Later in the day, I also created a shared drive with a folder to help Theresa and I be able to access my work.

Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 - 6 hours

At 8 am, I set up in the main lobby of the library. While there, I started working on a script for videos the library was wanting to send to students who borrow equipment from them. It would explain how the item works and how to set it up. To help, I rented out a bunch of different equipment and analyzed them to get a grasp of the items. I did not write a script for all the equipment available because they did not need to be explained so much. An example is a phone charger. This assignment was what I worked on the whole time that day. Once I finished the scripts, I informed Theresa and another librarian named Carrie about the scripts and left at 2 pm.

Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 - 6 hours

Once I entered at 8 am, I went to the private room and went back to working on assignments. While I was waiting for approval for the scripts I wrote, I worked on some of the other assignments they referenced. This ranged from papers to handouts for when students return to campus to posts that can be used to advertise services on their social media pages. Once I got feedback for the prior script from Carrie, I then did the edits she suggested and got final approval for it. Once that was done, I met up with both Carrie and Theresa and we discussed the projects. To help with that, I went around the library and helped scope filming locations for when the videos would be made. Once that was all done, I left at 2 pm.

Thursday, May 19th, 2022 - 6 hours

At 8 am, I came in and went to the private rooms to start working. I started out working on a schedule for filming the instructional videos on the rental equipment. While I do not know when it will be filmed, I knew I needed some form of plan to get the filming done. Whether it was where it took place, which one was first to film, or how many people I might need for the video, I had to get a basic plan in my head for these questions. Once I wrote this down, I then started working on filming different sections of the library. This was mostly so I could practice using the phone stabilizer and to have extra shots for when I work on the other video project to advertise the library. It would also be important since many changes are occurring this summer and it would be important to document these aspects. Once I got done, I left at 2 pm.

Friday, May 20th, 2022 - 6 hours

At 8 am, I went to visit Carrie to plan out filming the instructional videos. We decided to contact another department in the library and see if they have someone to be the on-screen talent. They had a person when we heard back, but they did not start work until 10. So, I spent the first few hours putting the plan into effect. For the first day of filming, I was hoping to do some outside recording. However, it was raining hard when they arrived at 10. So, I had to find a new location to record the videos. I ended up choosing a chair near a window to help give the video an interesting background. So, I got a collection of videos filmed by twelve. Once we finished filming for the day, I uploaded the footage onto my computer and shared the videos on the shared drive. I then started inserting the videos onto separate projects on Premiere and finished at 2 pm.

Monday, May 23rd, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started my day at 8 am, I was informed by Theresa that she was not able to see the videos I posted on the drive. so, I spent the first few hours converting the videos into MP4 files, organizing the videos and audio in the drive, and uploading the new video files. After this, I got back with the on-screen talent at 11:30 and recorded more footage for the instructional videos. We recorded the demonstration for a few of the equipment along with rerecording the intros and outros for the videos. This was so we could get more variety of a shot. Once we finished recording, I spent the time labeling the video and audio associated with our film session, converted the files to MP4s, and uploaded it on the drive for Theresa and Carrie to see. Once that was done, I left at around two.

Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 - 6 hours

As I started at 8 am, I worked on getting the videos together on premiere to make sure I put the correct videos and audios associated with them. Once I finished that, I met up with my on-screen talent, filmed the last few demonstrations, and redid the rest of the devices intro and endings. This was all to make sure I had all the designs to get started putting the videos together by the end of the week. There was one piece of equipment I chose not to do for the video and that was the projector. While I feel people would need to know how this would work, I feel it would be too much of a hassle. Especially since I was not even able to bring it to the table, I was analyzing the different equipment, to begin with. It was even weirder since I was a few feet away from the counter. So, I thought it would be best to leave that one be. Once we finished filming, I changed the videos in MP4 files at 12:30, transferred the videos and audio to the drive and added them to the premiere, and left at 2 pm.

Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 - 6 hours

At 8 am, I started putting some of the videos in a rough state in Adobe Premiere. Since I had most of the videos and audio completed, it was the perfect time to start getting those ready for when I go into more in detail with the videos. At 10:30, I left that for now and met up with the on-screen talent to work on voiceovers. We were planning to record the voiceovers to play during the sequence when she would demonstrate the devices for each video. Since the voice-overs were the easiest part, we just put the recording of that last since it would take the least amount of time. Once we finished recording at 12, I started adding the audio recordings to both the timeline in the editing software and uploading them to the drive for Carrie and Theresa to see. I then went back to putting the videos together and left at 2 pm.

Thursday, May 26th, 2022 - 6 hours

Since 8 am, I was working on editing the videos together. When I was working on it, I experienced a bunch of trouble since I had to edit out the mistakes the on-screen talent did. I also seemed to screw up some of the names of different files. So, it took me a long while before I made a collection of videos to present. The other thing I noticed though was that some videos' voiceovers were far longer than the B roll associated with it. So, I will need to meet up with my talent again to film some B roll and redo some other takes since the video seemed to not flow as smoothly as I hoped. I then emailed Carrie and Theresa about my progress and told my on-screen talent we will need to meet the next time she is available, and I left around two.

Friday, May 27th, 2022 - 6 hours

Due to my on-screen talent not being available today, I went back to editing the videos. This mostly went around organizing which audio is where, making sure videos look good, etc. Once I finished that at 10, I went through the drive and organized the files in it. This was so that it looked nice and neat for when we needed to look for different files. This centered around separating the written documents, the videos, and audio and compounding the project folders. Once this was done, I spent the last hour getting footage of the library for a montage project. I then converted the videos, created a folder on the drive for them, and organized all of them so they look nice. Once I finished all that, I left at 2 pm.

Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started today at 8, I was reevaluating the videos to remind myself which section needed reshooting. I also ended up editing the videos further to make sure it looks right. Once it reached ten, I reunited with the on-screen talent, and we reshoot different things. The videos we shot were mostly associated with close-ups of the equipment to get a better idea of the button layout. Once we finished filming that, we filmed the devices being plugged into a computer to add a B roll to it. Once we finished shooting at 12, I went back, converted the videos into MP4s, uploaded them onto the drive, added the files to premier, and got done around two.

Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 - 6 hours

Since eight, I have been working on editing the videos. This comprised of fitting the videos recorded yesterday along with making sure other aspects of the videos were correct. When I met with Theresa, she told me about the audio for one of the videos I submitted was lower than should be. So, I went back in and adjusted the audio and re-exported it to be analyzed. I also exported a few other videos and uploaded them all to the drive. She also suggested another video to add to the collection to introduce what equipment I will be referring to in the other videos. So, I will be recording that tomorrow. For now, I finished my editing of the videos, submitted upland loaded them, and emailed the supervisor of my progress left around two.

Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 - 6 hours

When I came in at 8, I was working on a script for an introduction and an ending for the equipment instructional video. Yesterday, Theresa suggested that the videos might be in a compilation, and she hoped I would film an opening for the compilation. So, I spent today working on a beginning and ending for it. Once I finished that, I uploaded the document to the drive. After this, I spent the rest taking pictures of the library for the montage project. Since the library changes each week, I would need to take photos and videos to show the progression. I then submitted different pictures and videos on the drive, informed Theresa, and got done around two.

Friday, June 3rd, 2022 - 6 hours

I came in as a usually do at 8. When I checked my email, they needed another person to approve the script I wrote yesterday. So, they gave me another assignment to get a head start on. They wanted me to start writing a script for a welcome video about the library. They wanted me to give an idea of what the library has and what it could do. So, I started working on it. When I would get writer's block, I would go out and take more pictures for the montage project. I spent the whole day working on the script. While I did not get it completely done, I got a pretty good amount of it written. So, I submitted what I did onto the drive, emailed Theresa about what I did, and left around two.

Monday, June 6th, 2022 - 7 hours

When I came in at 8, I spent it finishing off the script on the welcome week video. when I was working on it Friday, there were different parts I wasn't sure about like an opening and ending. So, I got that done along with checking for any typos or poorly worded aspects. At 10, I met up with Theresa as we discussed this along with other projects to work on. One of the things we talked about was meeting up later to get pictures of a section of the library being redesigned for the general studies majors for the montage project. Once the discussion ended, I went back and started working on another script. This one is an alternate intro for the instructional videos. Instead of being introduced as being a package, the new script would be used as a general explanation of which devices can be rented out from the library. I was working on that until about three when I met up with Theresa again. When we did, I got to get the pictures for the montage project from the redesigned area. This took about 10 minutes. Once we finished that up, I left.

Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8 today, I started by submitting the photos I took yesterday. This was so I had them ready when we work on the montage project. After that, I spent the time working on the alternate intro to the instructional video. Since I have not heard back about the script prior, I spent it working on something I know I could work on and be ready when I hear back from my superiors. I also ended up working with the files on the drive to make it seem organized. Once I finished today, I submitted it on the drive and emailed Theresa. Then, I left around two.

Wednesday. June 8th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8 today, I was looking around the files to find aspects to discuss with Theresa about. The things that came up most were for someone to analyze the scripts I had on the drive. When I met with Theresa at 9, we talked about this and other aspects. One example was to move files around to help her locate different assignments. When I was done, I went on to make a file for her to loop at pending scripts. I also decided to take more pictures ass associated with the changes going on at the library. Once I completed both, I submitted them to the drive. Another thing I was hoping to do is reshoot the openings for the instructional videos to point out the items that come with the equipment, to begin with. So, I emailed my on-screen talent about it but seems she will be out for the week. So, I will have to work on that next week. For now, I informed Theresa about what I did and left around two.

Thursday, June 9th, 2022 - 6 hours

I started at 8 today. While I waited until I heard the results of the script I wrote, I spent it working on other projects so I could see their response. This ranged from taking pictures for the montage project to working on other scripts, and other written assignments. While I did not hear back about the scripts, I still got a pretty good amount done. I got almost twenty photos taken and I was able to adjust another project on a flier for the "ask a librarian" desk. When I read the description, it said they were wanting to show that the reference desk is now the "ask a librarian" desk. It also wanted me to show the difference between the two and what each desk provided. So, I created my template of it and submitted that along with the other projects I worked on to the drive. Once I finished that, I left around two.

Friday, June 10th, 2022 - 6 hours

Since I still have not heard back from my advisor, I ended up emailing them to find out when they would work on that. As I waited, I worked on different other assignments. I did some filming for the instructional video and took more pictures for the montage. While I took a large number of pictures yesterday, many changes occurred after I took the pictures. I then submitted all the stuff I worked on to the drive. at 12, I got an email from my advisor to meet with her and discuss the scripts. So, we met, and she told me she will edit the script and submit it to show me. We also discussed other projects to work on in the future along with updating her on the progress I made in other projects. Once we finished the discussion, I went back to working on projects. I converted the videos I took to MP4s, uploaded the entire video on the drive, and added the videos to the premiere project. Once I was done, I left around two.

Monday, June 13th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I came into the library at 8, I started by looking at the script my advisor revised last Friday. Since I was done by the time, she was working with it, I decided to wait until I started working again to make sure she was completed with it. After I investigated the script, I started putting things together to start filming today at 10. Once I met with my on-screen talent, we started filming an alternate intro to the instructional video. In this version, I had her show which items were included with the equipment that is rented out through the library. I thought it would be good in case people were not sure which item does what. When we got done filming, I met up with Theresa, my advisor, at 12:30. There, we updated each other on different things on which we were working. I informed her of what I recorded today, and she informed me of some ways my projects will be used or distributed. Once we finished, I downloaded the videos, converted them, uploaded them to the drive, and left around two.

Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 - 6 hours

Since I started at 8, I spent most of the day editing the instructional videos. With the filming from yesterday done, I wanted to put it together to show what I have done so far to my advisor. So, I arranged the videos to fit the design, saved each project, and exported them into MP4 files. Once I finished editing the videos at 12, I spent the rest getting photos of the library for the montage project. I also worked on the script my advisor sent yesterday to help correct different errors that occurred in the script. Once I finished all this, I submitted the files to the drive, emailed my advisor about my progress, and left around two.

Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I was working on the script for the alternate intro and ending for the media rental at the library. At 9, I went to meet up with my advisor and discussed the project and informed her of my progress on them. Once we ended the meeting, I went back to filling out the script. When I last checked the script, I noticed it did not write down any details. It was just the beginning and ending when I also needed a general description of the equipment. So, I spent the time looking up the equipment and saying what can be rented through the library on the script. Once I finished around eleven, I met back up with Theresa and informed her of my progress. I spent the rest of the time taking pictures of the library for the montage project until I left around two.

Friday, June 17th, 2022 - 6 hours

Due to some issues with the air conditioning units on campus, the library was closed yesterday. Since the air conditioning units were still not working at the library, I spent the day filming at another building on campus. At 8, I borrowed a tripod from the library and spent the time filming the script for the intro to borrowing equipment at the library. It took me a while to get the filming completed, but I still needed more footage to get it all to put together. I also tried to return the equipment but seemed the library closed a few hours after I left. So, I kept it with me until I could return it. Thus, I ended my progress at 2.

Monday, June 20th, 2022 - 2 hours

Since I missed the assignments on Thursday, I made up some of the time today. Since the library was closed due to it being Juneteenth, I spent the time adjusting files along with uploading the footage I recorded on Friday. I did all this between 8-10 and I ended it there.

Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 - 6 hours

Since I came in at 8, I spent the day working on the videos. I was converting the file type so my advisor could see the footage on their own. I also moved more files around to make them organized better. When I worked on the videos on Monday, I noticed many files were not put in a good design. So, I made them fit the videos since I was putting two different, but relevant projects together. Once I finished that, I emailed my prior on-screen talent to see if she was able to assist in this next project. I decided I needed to refilm the videos because they were not good enough. Unfortunately, I found out she will not be able to help me due to not being on campus anymore. So, I worked on a plan in my head of how I was going to shoot this next project since she would not be able to help. Once I finished that, I left at 2.

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 - 6 hours

When I got to the library at 8, I worked to get all the items I needed to reshoot the project. I then met with my advisor at 9 to relay my game plan for how I was planning to get the shooting to work. She then let me use one of the classrooms in the library to use when I was filming. Once we ended the meeting, I went to the classroom and started filming around ten. For this filming, I put the script on a projector to create an improvised teleprompter. I then ended up doing this till I left at 2.

Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 - 6 hours

For this whole day, I worked to move all the footage I recorded to my computer and make it so I could be able to use it. Starting at 8, I went through the footage I filmed yesterday and went through my usual routine. I uploaded the recordings to the drive, converted the video files to MP4s, and uploaded those versions as well. Once I got through that, I then started putting things together in a pro project to be able to start editing and putting the video together. Once I finished all that, I left at 2.

Friday, June 24th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I worked to edit the video together. I started cutting the videos, attaching the audio track with it, and linking it all together to put the video into a complete form. While working on the project, I realized, I needed to take pictures and videos for the montage project. So, at 10, I went in the middle of editing the video and started capturing the media. This took an hour. Once I finished getting the pictures, I went back to editing the video. Due to the distraction, I was not able to get the video completed. So, I got together what I could, saved it, uploaded that along with the pictures onto the drive, and I left around two.

Monday, June 27th, 2022 - 6 hours

For today, I worked to complete the video editing. when I got to the library at 8, I went to the private room, and I went back to editing the video. It took me another hour and I completed the video. I then exported the video and uploaded it to the drive. Since I finished that, I spent the rest of working with the files and helping organize them to make them look neat for my advisor to keep track of. After a while, I ended up also getting some pictures for the montage project. I thought it would help keep things on track if I got some done today and help show the progress along the way. So, I went and took the different pictures for it and uploaded them to the drive. After that, I informed my advisor about my progress, and I left around two.

Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 - 6 hours

Due to my advisor being unavailable this week, I decided to spend the day planning how I can improve the video. Starting at 8 am, I reviewed the video and looked for ways I could film as a B roll for the video. B roll is a video that is shown under a monologue to relate to the voice-over. So, I went through the video and looked at things I talked about and looked to see where I could get some footage for it. One place I checked was on the Co-op website. I mentioned renting textbooks from the library. So, I went to the renting books section to see if I could get some footage there. Whether it was through recording the website on OBS software or taking a screenshot for it. I did not think it looked right. So, I did not get anything from it. Once I finished that, I left around two.

Wednesday, June 29, 2022 - 6 hours

For today, I hoped to find someplace to film the B roll from yesterday. However, I struggled to get that. Each of the places I went to did not have the areas I was hoping for to get the filming done. One of the biggest things I was hoping for was to get a collection of equipment filmed, but of the places I could access, I could not find a suitable design. So, I ended up holding filming off for tomorrow. For now, I just got some more filming done for the montage project I was working on. I went to the new section of the library and started taking pictures and videos of the area that was being built. Once I finished filming, I then uploaded the files to the drive and left around two.

Thursday, June 30th, 2022 - 6 hours

Since I was not able to get the stuff, I wanted to be filmed, I spent the time today looking around the library for places to film. I did end up finding different things that would be suitable for the video. I recorded a bookshelf for the school supplies, some equipment demonstrations, and the desk where they rented out the equipment. I then took the footage, converted it into MP4s, and added them to the video. I would then export the video and upload it onto the drive along with the other videos I recorded for it. Then, I spent the time recording more footage for the montage project. Due to people working at the site yesterday, I did not want to be in their way. So, I only filmed things that were in a different room from where they were working. Since they were not there, I went back and got more footage for the project. Then I uploaded it to the drive and left around two.

Friday, July 1st, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I spent more time looking for more footage for the intro to rental equipment project. While the footage I took yesterday worked well, there were still parts I felt needed to be added to it. The video felt empty overall, and I thought it would be good to add something to help fill it up some. So, I went under my desire to learn (or D2L) and captured footage of class assignments for the video. I also went to the scheduling section of my IUP account and filmed the different classes available for the fall 2022 semester. Once I finish this, I then added them all to the video, exported it again, and added it to drive. after that, I went to get more footage for the montage project. This was mostly a sweep-type photo where I just get different angles in case the photo this time works better than the prior shots or videos. Once I uploaded all this to the drive, I then left around two.

Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I came in at 8, I went through the drive and made sure everything was in order when I visited her at 11 Since I have not seen my advisor for a week. Since I did plenty of filming, I double-checked all the footage and the audio to make sure they were all available to be viewed along with making sure the folders were organized for when she browsed it. Once I double-checked the files, I then went to see Ms. McDevitt at 11. When we met, I caught her up on my work along with discussing any residual work I needed to be done for the project. Once we finished the meeting, I started getting ready to work on another project while she reviewed my project. Once she gave me her reaction, I met back with her to discuss what other resources I needed. While most of the filming I was hoping for would need to be held off until tomorrow, I still got a few things filmed for today. I also went and recorded some footage for the montage project. Once I finished that, I uploaded it all to the drive and left it at 2.

Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started an eight, I got ready to film for today. For this filming session, I was working on more footage to put under a voice-over. When I met with Ms. McDevitt, we started the putting different utensils like pencils and staplers in a collection and filmed it for the project. After filming, I started editing the video together. While editing the video, I realized there was some more footage I needed to film before I completed the video. So, I was about to talk to Ms. McDevitt, but she was busy. So, I would inform her about the filming tomorrow. So, I closed out the video and I left around two.

Thursday, July 7th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started today at 8, I checked the video files and made sure the video was designed right. I did that along with working with the files until I met with Ms. McDevitt at 10. When I did, I filmed the last few parts of the video. We also started to discuss the concept of our next big project: the digital escape room. While we discussed it earlier into the internship, Ms. McDevitt wanted to work on it now because she would be more available to discuss the project together. While originally, we were planning to use WordPress for the software, we realized it would be too much of a hassle for the project we were talking about. Plus, it would cost money to be able to make a webpage for it. So, we chose instead to work with Microsoft Forms. Once we finished our meeting, I went back and continued editing the video. Once I finished, I exported the video and uploaded it along with other footage I had for that project and left at 2.

Friday, July 8th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I spent the whole day working on the digital escape room project. When I started, I wrote a concept for how I imagine the story of the escape room would go. I did not go into detail about it since I have not talked to my advisor about the project. When I did meet with Ms. McDevitt, she corrected me on the story and gave more of a concept of how she wanted the escape room to commence. So, I went back to the privacy room to change the story and get a grasp of how forms work. That way I know how to use it once we got a better grasp of the design. Once I finished the story, I went back to talk to Ms. McDevitt to discuss my progress and get feedback. She enjoyed the story concept I wrote for it, and we discussed further some designs she was hoping for. While we had a good grasp of ideas, we decided to leave it until next week to make sure that the other librarians agree with the idea along with them giving some other concepts. Once we finished our meeting, I got some more footage for the montage project, uploaded it all to the drive, and left around two.

Monday, July 11th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I started getting ready to work with my advisor by studying up on the different digital escape rooms online. With While most of them were based on different subjects like Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss, they could be a good point to see what worked for others and how we could design our digital escape room. Once I met with Mrs. McDevitt, we started putting together the basis for the escape room. She would start out by making a series of questions and multiple-choice answers. While she was working on that, I would look over the project and work on the more complicated sections like creating different tracks to connect the different bad scenario. Once I got some of the parts put together, I then left around two.

Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I went back to working on the escape room. When I did, I went more of the routing system along with adding more bad endings. When I met with Mrs. McDevitt at 11, I caught her up on the progress. When we talked, seems she wanted me to change the way the endings would work. If they chose to get a bad ending, the program would have them submit the results even though they did not make it to the true ending. so, she wanted me to find a way to circle them back to where they left off. Due to the system's limitations though, I was not feasibly able to do this. So, I spent the day working to find a way to obtain it to no avail. So, I went back to the other digital escape rooms, and I realized something important. When we were working on the project, we were using Microsoft Forms to create the system. However, all the different digital escape rooms I saw online all were made using Goggle Forms. So, I tested out the system to see if it did what Mrs. McDevitt wanted and was successful in the process. So, I spent the rest of the day transferring different parts of the digital escape room over to Google forms, so we didn't have to backtrack on the project. Once I got as far as I could that day, I left around two.

When I started at 8, I continued transferring our progress from the Microsoft forms onto the Google Forms. Once I met with Mrs. McDevitt, I showed her my progress along with showing her my discovery about google forms. When we talked, she agreed that the Google forms would be better suited for the project. So, I continued to work on that system for now. While working on it, I put in place a possible alternate route that could change the outcome of the story. In the digital escape room, the story was that a student pushed off his final project for the last week of school. So, they rushed to the library to get the project done. While most of the alternate paths led to a bad ending, there was one I had started that the person would ignore the library resources to get the assignment done. For this route, I imagined they would still get the assignment done, but it would not turn out well. Whether that was being a few hours before it was due, having spelling errors and run-on sentences, or their issues due to them brute forcing their way through the project. Once I finished what I did, I then met with Mrs. McDevitt, informed her of my progress, and left around 2.

When I started at 8, I went through the escape room and worked on finding pictures to go with the scenarios I designed. While there are some, I was hoping to take the picture for, I went online to find different pictures to go with things I either could not take a picture of. Whether that would be different things like SpongeBob related or things that did not need a person in the picture. when I talked to my Mrs. McDevitt at 11, we discussed what to do in association with ones I wanted to take a picture of. When we did though, she told me I would need to hold off due to her not being available tomorrow. So, I went back to finding pictures for the other parts of the escape room. Once I finished that, I left at 2.

Since Mrs. McDevitt wasn't going to be available that day, I spent it cataloging for the montage project. I went to different sections of the library to find the renovations going on at the library. whether that was the place where the writing center was being placed or the staff area being place in the basement. This took some time due to the working coming in and out of the area and I did not want to be in their way as I get the photographs and videos for the project. Once I finished that, I uploaded them all to the drive, converted the videos so Mrs. McDevitt could see them on it, and I left around 2.

When I woke up that day, I had a terrible headache. I took some medication, but I still struggled with the pain. So, I went to the library at 9 to see if I could work with the headache. So, I started looking for pictures to fill out the digital escape room. However, I could only go until 11 before I just could not do it. So, I went to Mrs. McDevitt, informed her of my situation and ended leaving a few minutes later.

Now that I was feeling better, I went to the library at my usual time of eight. When I started, I went working on finding different pictures to help put together for the Digital escape room. When I met with Mrs. McDevitt at 10, I discussed the project to see what she thinks about it so far along with what changes should be done. One of the things that came up was that one of the questions was missing an answer after a mistake. So, I needed to put it back in. The other thing was discussing what pictures to use for the project. I had an idea of some pictures I could take to add for the project, and I brought it up to her at the meeting. Once we finished our meeting, I went off and started looking for pictures and adding them to the project. I also had to chgetme of the routing in the program as well. I noticed some of the questions somehow were going to the wrong places. So, I decided to work to correct this issue. Once I completed that, I left around two.

When I started at 8, I went back to getting pictures together. I rented out a tripod from the circulation desk and went around to take pictures for the project. these pictures mostly focused on me asleep somewhere outside due to one of the prompts suggesting the player fell asleep outside. Once I finished the photos, I then went to meet up with Mrs. McDevitt and inform her of my progress. Since the base of the project was already don,e, we were hoping to get different outside people to try out the escape room and get their feedback on it. So, she had a group of her students try it out while I asked a former professor to give the game aprivatence we finished our meeting, I went back and inserted the pictures to the project and then I left around two.

When I started at 8, I went back to gettiaddedtures for the digital escape room. For today, I got a tripod and got a few pictures in the privacy rooms in the library along with taking pictures of signs. In the escape room, we mention a scenario where the person is getting tired. So, I went and took different pictures of me being "tired" and adding them to the escape room. At 11, I met with Mrs. McDevitt to discuss what to do for the project. One thing that came up was that the Career and Professional Development Center was being moved to the library and she was reaching out to the office to see if they wanted to be included along with asking for suggestions from them. We would wait for their response about it to see what would need to be changed for it. After that, I spent the rest of the day working to catalogue the changes for the montage project. Once I finished that, I left around two.

Friday. July 22nd, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8 today, I spent the time getting a few more pictures for the diwordingcape room. For this day, I spent it going through the internet and finding new pictures to add to it. This happened because I noticed something odd about the design. One of the "bad endings" did not reflect the choice that was given. So, I needed to redesign the ending to better fit it. I also moved the wordings of the questions and answers to different locations. When the choices were first written, part of the consequence was put with it and a new response is written in the aftermath of that choice. So, I moved the part about the response to the choice different location to be more fitting to the choice. When I met with Mrs. McDevitt at 11, she told me there was another section of the library we would need to include. This is the Career and Professional Development office that was being moved to double-check in the summer. So, she was seeking to ask them about if they wanted to suggest where to put the office in the digital escape room. Another project that was mentioned was a welcome week video that shows off the different areas of the library for the new and returning students. Since it was towards the end of the week, we decided to leave that for next week. Once we were done, I spent the rest of the time finding the photos and working on making the project seem coherent until I left at 2.

Monday, 25th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I went to work on adding the Career and professional planning to the digital escape room. During the weekend, I was linked to her email discussion with the office and they were fine with how we wanted to add them. when I planned it today, I put them before the question that leads to the true endings. I created a section that with their own choices as a temporary until I got approval from Mrs. McDevitt. When I met with her, I showed her what I did and she suggested how I cam change it. Instead of being before the endings, she wanted me to make one of the ending choices to lead to the question related to the Career and Professional Development office. Then, that would got back to the true endings. Once we finished meeting, I went back and redid the system to add this question and its associated bad endings and add photos to it. I then went back to show it to Mrs. McDevitt to get approved. She said she liked it and showed it to the Career and Professional Development offices to see if they approve of it. Once we finished our meeting, I left at 2.

Tuesday, 26th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I came in at 8, I went to cataloging the writing center's progress for the montage project. Since the majority of the other additions were already made, I didn't think I needed to rephotograph those areas since they looked the same the prior weeks. So, I spent the majority of the time focusing on the things that are new. Once I finished that, I met up With Theresa to discuss any new projects. A new project she mentioned was for me to create a montage of the places in the library for welcome week. for that, she gave me a paper that contained the different locations in the library. However, she wasn't sure if the paper was the final version. so, she sent an email out to different librarians to see if they knew the status on it. While we waited for a response, we looked around at the different places she knew were going to need to photographed to show where they are. After we did that, I went back, submitted the photos I took and left around 2.

Thursday 28th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I came in at 8, I checked the email she sent the different emails since she included me in it. It seemed they did have a final version available. So, I got ready to meet with Mrs. McDevitt to go around a film the different locations. This comprised of me taking a bunch pictures of the different places. Sometimes it is the same place, but done in different angles. Once we finished that, we discussed if there are any other projects to work one. One she mentioned was to look over a scavenger hunt that is held at the library. Another was working to setup a picture for the escape room project. With the last picture, we needed a group of people to pose like they are in a zoom meeting. So, we needed a group of young people to be on zoom to take a picture. So, Mrs. McDevitt sent an email out to see if there are any younger people who would be available at the library. Once we finished our meeting, I uploaded the pictures I took to the drive and left around 2.

Friday, 29th, 2022 - 6 hours

When I started at 8, I went to getting more footage of the library. To add some form of motion to the welcome week video, I decided to take a video of myself walking around the different floors of the library. I imagined I could then use some of it to then give almost like a physical directing of the library. Once I finished that, I met up with Mrs. McDevitt about the progress I have done. Right when we met, we went to the Career and professional planning to get the photo for the escape room. I explained the design and the people in the area as we worked to make it look how I imagine it to be. Once we finished, I went back to Mrs. McDevitt to catch her up on the progress. After we finished the meeting, I went back and worked to upload the videos and photos I took to the drive. Unfortunately, seemed two of the videos wouldn't be able to get uploaded to anything. not my hard drive, the drive, or even just onto my laptop. So, I decided to work on that next week in hopes to be able to get it to work. Once I finished all that, I informed Mrs. McDevitt on my progress and I left at 2.
